13 March: Origins attends the National Apology delivered by then Labour Prime Minister Julia Gillard on behalf of Australians for the lasting harm to mothers, adopted people, some fathers and wider families caused by forced adoptions.
29 February: Senate Inquiry into Forced Adoption report is handed down Origins members turn out in force to hear senate committee validate Origins perspective of forced adoption and speaks with world media, including BBC and a US documentary on Forced Adoption
26 May: Origins speaks at 3 Sorry Day Events
